What is net neutrality?

Net neutrality is the basis that your ISP (Internet service provider), or practically the government has to treat all the data on the Internet the same. Net neutrality basically makes it so your ISP cant encourage some sites and block or slow others(For example: Netflix, to either limit your bandwidth to  make you use their services), which if this were to happen, ISP’s would be able to charge content providers and or even slow your upload/download speeds. No need to fear, there is actually a league that defends the Internet, called the Internet Defense League(yes literally). If you strongly agree with net neutrality I encourage you to sign up with the IDL and support them as I do.
